We are all guilty of it at one point. Deciding on wether or not to watch a movie or buy a video game, all based on a number. The Metacritic score. They take variety of reviewer's marks - from stars, to points out of 5, or points out of 10, and convert it to a percent of 100. Then, they try to give an honest mark based on those scores. It is kind of like a very fancy "average mark," based on a variety of reviewers. Sadly, the exact method is not entirely clear. Truth is, over my lifetime, I have played a lot of games. From triple-A titles to obscure indies, I enjoy a range of gaming experiences. I also enjoy movies as well! This blog aims to serve up a super-short synopsis on whatever media I am consuming at the time, and decide if the Metacritic mark really is accurate or not. I hope you enjoy!
